Hi, my name is Mrs. Dana Warmbold and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers at St. Vincent Ferrer. This is my ninth year teaching in early childhood. I have three years experience working in preschool, five years teaching Junior Kindergarten and this is my first year in Kindergarten. I received my bachelor’s degree at Northern Illinois University in Family and Child Studies with an emphasis in Family and Individual Development. I also received my Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from National-Louis University. I currently hold a type 04 teaching certificate (age birth through third grade).
St. Vincent Ferrer has been a very big influence throughout my life. As a child, I attended SVF and I am also a parishioner of the church. The school and parish will continue to be a part of my life. My husband Chris and I have been married for three years at St. Vincent’s church and we have a one year old son. St. Vincent Ferrer helped guide my love for education and my upbringing with the Catholic faith.
When I am not teaching in the classroom, I can be found cheering on most Chicago sports; especially the Cubs and Bears. I also enjoy watching my son grow, working in my garden and house, and being with family and friends!
